The Live Bold Community Fund was created to celebrate the spirit of community by supporting local and national organisations and projects that inspire healthier lifestyles, learning and connection, helping people come together, thrive and live bold.

The Macb Live Bold Community Fund supports organisations in Scotland that make a real difference!
It celebrates community projects that encourage healthier lifestyles, help people learn new skills, bring people together and, of course, spark a little fun.
Nominations are now open for 2027 funding, so submit your entry and help us make a bold impact together.

In 2026, we proudly sponsored a range of bold initiatives, Including:
Grey Matters Active Aging – Helensburgh
Funding for a day trip to take 50 members to explore Loch Katrine and Callander.
East Glasgow Music School – Glasgow
Funding was used to invest in new musical equipment to support its training programme.
Lewis Shinty Club – Stornoway
Funding helped to purchase new helmets and protective gear for the team.
Ayrshire Deaf Club – Kilmarnock
Funding was used for two end of term celebrations catering for both adults and children. The funding allowed the charity to purchase various items – a BBQ, new dart board, various party games along with food and drink for both events.
Creative Smiles – Kirkcaldy
A full supply of art materials from easels, paint brushes, paint sets, craft materials.
Halfpenny Sanctuary – Aberdeen
Funding to help with gardening tools, polytunnel equipment and an irrigation system to be able to grow their own fruit and vegetables for their animals. And to grow plants that can be sold onto the community to raise further funds.
