Every drop of Macb water is sourced from our historic spring at Macduff, with delicious natural fruit flavours bursting out of every bottle. But where is Macduff? What makes our area special?
The North East of Scotland is renowned for its breath-taking rugged landscape, it’s also our home, so excuse us if we’re bias but it can be a pretty amazing place to be.
Macduff was once the centre point of the surrounding areas fishing industry. The centre of the town today still revolves around the harbour, and commercial fishing vessels continue to use the port every day.
Just down the road from us is the Macduff Marine Aquarium. It’s a great attraction located on the Banffshire Coastline. It creates a great insight for visitors into an underwater world, surprising them with the wide variety and colour of sea life living in the North Sea.
It wouldn’t be a Scottish town without living up to the stereotype and having a golf course nearby. Macduff is no exception as just five minutes away from where we are located is a world class golf course, The Royal Tarlair. This course has panoramic views of the coastline and a life of its own on a windy day.
For the historians amongst us, our local area is also home to Duff House. Rated as a five-star attraction on Visit Scotland, we’d say this estate is not to be missed. It’s collection of paintings and furniture transports you back in time to the 18th century when it was a bustling house.
We are pretty happy with our little home and we hope you like it just as much as us!
